Weekend Review

He mentioned Eddie Moore and Corey Jenkins as players he thinks will take over if Junior cant finish the season, are they ahead of donnie Spragan?? Nice read, very good article.

Glad to see just about everyplayer "looked good"... Good read, I like a little in depth analysis.

Excellent report, one of the best I've ever read in covering a mini-camp.

I agree with the writer that Crowder should start with Zach and Seau, I also wouldn't rule out Matt Roth starting before the season is out.

His views of the quarterbacks were very interesting, I can envision Frerotte blossoming as a Vet with us the way many other Vet QB's have when they got another chance later in their career with another team......such as Gannon, Plunkett etc etc..............

Taylor played nose tackle, which I thought was weird because how will that stop the run? He usually dropped back into coverage though. I am still confused as to how Saban will utilize the 3-4.

Taylor at NT? Now that is interesting.

I was just about to post something on that... What the hell was he doin at NT?!?!?! that is rediculous! :rofl3:

Nasty

I hope that's what other teams are saying. I can see it Jets offices right now, Edwards says to Humdinger (I know its wrong), what do you mean Taylor was lining up at NT? I don't know boss, but how can I run an offense if I don't know where the defense is?

Sage ahead of AJ as of now, UMMMM, that will stir the pot on this site!

Just wait for the supporters to bring out classic excuses such as:

Well how do you expect him to play well in a drill with no OL? There is nobody to snap the ball to him!

i agree. hope we can get a solid 3 years out of him

I agree, and it seems that Sage may finally be getting his chance. It should be an interesting QB battle.

Wow, what a ringing endorsement of Feeley. :shakeno:

I guess a lot of us (if this keeps up, I realize it's only mini-camp) might have to get used to the idea of Gus being our starting QB.

Hey, if it's better for the team and helps us win, I'm all for it.

It's so he can run an "X" stunt with another defensive end (D.Bowens or Roth) on passing downs.

Those give offensive lineman fits. Especially if used with someone who has the quickness of Jason Taylor.
