God I hate that commercial. How are they going to look good if the Asteriks lose? Popping champagne? Clearly they did this to show them being gracious but if the Giants win how are they supposed to act?
 
When you're the only rooster in the hen house it's real hard not to be the **** of the walk.
 
Obvious that they shot two endings for this...hope we get to see both at some point.

Make sure you check out the "Behind The Scenes" video...

Notice how some of the players are wearing replicas of the '70s jersey (Morris, Little, Kiick) while others (Yepremian, Morrall, Kuechenberg) are wearing current design jerseys...Dick Anderson's jersey looks like a mid '90s version.
 
If the Giants win, I think the fins should be smug and arrogant all they want. If its taken this long for anyoen to even get to this point in matching them, the odds are most of the 72 team wil be dead by the time anyone comes close to doing it again. I say let them have their moment in the sun. If the Giants win, I hope the whole 72 team comes on the field to give them congrats. Rub it in their cheating faces. I'm glad they made this commercial, on the other hand though if the giants don't win...I say we give them the Bellichek snub and don't even accknowledge they won, don't even give interviews about it, just act like it didn't happen at all.
 
I hate how the media sees the '72 team as gruppy old men, that have nothing better to do than wait around for every team to lose a game. Many members of the '72 team have stated many times that they aren't like that. It just goes to show you that you can't belive everything you hear on ESPN.
