Gus short changed the player who has the most heart on this team so far this season, by over throwing him in the endzone! I feel really angry about that very very poor throw by Gus. He could have lobbed that ball to Welker he was so damn wide open - and Welker my friends has earned it. The guy plays his HEART out! Isn't that what Saban is all about? No-one, and I mean no-one brings it like Welker. Did you see him hold on to that ball on that hit on the sidelines yesterday?! OH-MY! Man I love this guy! I live for a player like this. From out of freakin no-where and in all of the Dumbstadt debacles this kid in their one found gem. I remember fans on this site posting his college highlight reel and when I saw it I thought oh man this guy can play. That highlight rocked! And clearly Saban has wised his overly conservative *** up and has been trying to give the kid the ball more. Get Welker the damn BALL(even though he kind of fumbled one yesterday but his instincts were good and he got his own ball back)!

I have to say that if 1/2 of this team played ball with the intensity that Welker brings we would have a shot at the Superbowl - and I mean that. Seau to his credit plays like that all the time (of course Seau's on another level because of his consistancy over a long period of time makes him a hall of famer), and yesterday Holiday brought it, Cowder definitely showed a bit more yesterday too. But Welker is fearless and approaches every play as if it is his last! Like he ain't got nothin to lose! Ain't that what the NFL is supposed to be at? I'd like to see Chris Chamber act a little bit more like that - not step out of bounds on a reverse when no-one is even near you. Ronnie seems to have a bit of it too. I love that kid too. But today my props go to Welker - dude you got robbed bigtime, but real Dolphin fans saw it and know it. Keep doing it Welker and hopefully you will become contageous - other player watching you and saying to themselves I gotta have some of that!

Who cares? I don't give a **** about who the receiver was...it could've been Welker, Chambers, Booker, Boston, Gilmore, or anybody else. The pass was horrible, who gives a damn about who the missed target was?

I swear, some of you people would kill for the chance to get on your knees & propose to Wes Welker..he's not God.

I agree about Welker, but find it rediculous that you would have such anger that Gus overthrew a ball to him. One who truly feels that way may have to grow up a bit. You sound personally angry at him for the overthrow. What about the personal anger at the o line everytime there is a sack or Ronnie gets hit in the backfield...ronnie plays hard, he deserves a shot at getting yards and td's....what about that TD he got that was called back for a penalty on the o line, do you have this personal anger for that. These guys are all doing their best (with few exceptions).

No, I'm just sick & tired of people acting like Wes Welker is Chad Johnson. This is the type of b.s. I'm talking about:

Our best reciever is Wes Welker.

Welker is our best (i.e. most consistant) WR right now. I don't see why you have a problem with that statment.

Word:evil: WTF is with these white reciever lovers:rofl3: Welker has great heart and I'm glad we got him but the real issue is our QB is not very good at passing the ball. Period:evil:

Hey settle down there...homie. Take a look at the average ball play of all of our receivers and Welker outshines. When the ball is put where he can catch it, he catches it, he has not dropped a catchable ball all season. Now you have a valid point when you say it does not matter which receiver is overthrown b/c they all piss me off just the same whether it's Welker or any other wide out but Welker is the man right now, he's in the zone. He may not have the same stats that Chad has right now but he also does not have Chad's QB or O-line. Not to mention the fact that he has had 2 touchdowns called back this year because of penalties. Ease up man, we are all Dolphins here. :)

That's the whole point...if you replace Chad Johnson with Wes Welker, the Bengals are not a 6-2 team right now. Wes Welker's play is a product of Chris Chambers getting all of the attention from defensive backs, and Booker grabbing whatever is left. Most of his big plays are when he's lined up with a safety or linebacker, that is why I don't see why people are giving him more credit than he's due. Wes Welker is an average player who does a lot, so I can see why he's APPRECIATED. However, you guys overrate the crap out of him on this site. Seriously, I think it's because he's a small, white receiver..

I'm sorry man but you're wrong. What about when he's returning punts and kicks and he has an entire special teams unit coming at him. He's one of the leading returners in the league. He's consistently good, you cannot deny it. And you brought up the race issue, maybe that's why you are so upset that so many people like him and are talking him up? Because he's white. I know for me that has nothing to do with it. If Chambers or Booker or any of them was as consistent as him I would be saying the same thing about them. All I am saying is he's good, better than average and he's consistent. Seriously, I think you just want to rebel against the popular mode of thought on here.

I'm not even going to dignify your insinuation of racism with a response. :shakeno:

I said Welker was our best receiver... not the Bengals.

I'd take Johnson over Welker in a minute. I'd also take Welker over how any of our other receivers are performing this year.

Whoa Whoa I know your playing around but White recievers are on the uprise Matt Jones looks like he can be a star 1 day and anybody who disagrees state there opinions and why? Also Bennet has been nothing but solid and Welker is the most consistant reciever for our team. I'm not saying hes the best on our team and some people do go overboard with the comments on Welker but I respect his play and I'm glad hes on the Dolphins team.
