I'm amazed by that guy.NorthFloridaFin said:Wes Welker has really impressed me. We already knew he was a good option as a return man, but he seems to be our most reliable receiving weapon too.
Great ticket stub... was that the preseason game where the Bucs injured Griese?.... If so, talk about turnabout.BucGuy said:But the Bucs had the coverage on him most of the day.
Is that Brian Kelly on Wes Welker?!?!?!?! Was he covering him most of the game or just on a few plays? I had thought Juran Bolden was on Welker but if Brian Kelly was on Welker, than means Rhonde was either Chris Chambers or Marty Booker. That means... we had Chambers on Bolden or Booker on Bolden, now don't get me wrong... Bolden is a big physical nickel back... but why couldn't we get the DAMN BALL to Booker or Chambers or whomever Rhonde Barber and Brian Kelly weren't covering?!?! :yell:BucGuy said:But the Bucs had the coverage on him most of the day.

Welker had well over 200 total yards, don't forget the kick returns and punt returns...Ace88 said:Welker is da man. If you didn't notice, Welker almost had 100 yards against your defense. :D
actually i'd do Booker and Chambers... keep Welker in the slot, just involve him more in the passing game.dolfn66 said:Yep, he's a keeper, Welker and Chambers would be my starting duo now if we can just fix that darn QB problem.
