Welker Receiving?

Geez, I am just so desperate to read some threads that don't re-hash the QB debacle that I signed up to ask....

How good did Wes Welker look as a receiver & on returns?

Do you think we will see much action from him as a receiver this year or will they try to avoid injury and hold him back for returns only?

Please, no responses voting him for QB!

I love watching Welker. He's so special on returns because it's never the first player to reach him that brings him down, and he can create stuff out of nothing, it never ceases to amaze me. He even had a carry last night =).

He has been practicing in the slot the past week, I hope we see more of him.

welker could be put in at random times with our offense just to go long, or maybe for screens to him. stuff like that. Just the fact that they are giving him a look at receiver is exciting. Hes a great player.
