Just a little info I read and thought I'd post for you all to read.



Wes Welker's agent says he approached the Dolphins about a contract extension this past offseason, but Miami wasn't interested. That decision likely will cost Miami a lot more to keep him when he's a restricted free agent in March.

This FO is comitting the same mistakes WannySpeil did.

Not signing or renegotiating the contracts of their key players.That why we were caught behind the 8 ball with Wale.

Anyway I dont think Welker will draw that much interest and we can always match any offer.
 
He'll get his $$$. Who knew that he would be the best receiver on the roster now? These are the high risks of the NFL.

we knew welker had solid return capabilities but we did not forsee his coming out party as a #3 reciever. i love this guy . i gotta get a welker jersey. maybe i can trade in my yatil green jersey for it.:lol:
 
im not too worried im confident he will be resigned
 
Nowhere did it say they weren't interested in extending him just that at that time they weren't interested in talks. Could just be the usual agent mouthpiece crap too. Who knows. It's only half the story
 
ill worry about that in the offseason but if he is not resigned i will be very upset
 
I think it's simply because they know and are resigned to the fact that they're going to give him a first round RFA tender. No big deal.
