To those who are older and care about this,

the Jets are up by 14 with 5 minutes left in the 4th.

with Peyton, Wayne and Dallas Clark on the bench out of the game since the 3rd
 
But, now the Jets are going to get into the playoffs off of teams not even making their best effort to win.

Id rather see the Jets miss the playoffs than the Colts not go undefeated anyday.
 
Really makes being undefeated feel real special huh? It must be some accomplishment if teams dont even make an effort to do it when they have the chance.
 
who would the colts rather face if the wildcard made it to them, ravens, broncs,fins,texans,steelers or jets? jets case closed

I'm young and care about the record too, but if the Jets freaking make the playoffs cause the Colts sit their starters....then I'd take the Colts at 15-0
 
Who cares? The Jets are the #1 D in the league and the #1 rushing team. They deserve it. Rex Ryan inherited tons of talent.

hate to tell you this but back then teams and players didnt lay down. they played to pay their bills (I.E. ELECTRIC,WATER,PHONE,ETC). so yeah it is special. its funny how punks like you make light of it,but to the players who fought tooth and nail to get there,deserve every red cent of glorification that comes from it.screw you.
 
ya i feel so great now, cnt wait for that jets at pats wildcard game. so excited 2 of my favorite teams. mite as well kill myself.

i feel like everytime when the jets need everything to break for them a certain way to get in, it happens. 2002 same ****in thing. they play gb week 17 and favre barley plays bc everyone is clinched. could the ****in jets be luckier with the way things break for them when they need it to go a certain way.

just the fact that there fat **** coach thought they were officially eliminated, they shouldnt be allowed to qualify if they do have the record to make it.

This is a good point except for that fact that, as a die-hard Fins fan, I would throw up if I saw them roll over and just give the opposition a game no matter the scenario... I hate HATE HATE the "have to rest the starters" argument. You play every game to win... resting starters for 3 weeks does not a championship make.
 
This sucks! How can any Dolphins fan be happy right now?! The JETS are probably going to make the Playoffs now!
 
I think that's huge. We are still the only perfect team in history! Manning is a huge history buff on football. He's going to take it out on his little brother tonight. Even if if the Jets get in theyr'e not going far!
