As predicted Grossman beat out Beck as the starter in Washington. I still think Beck would have been better to keep than drafting White and am not sure Moore is a better qb than Beck. Im pretty sure Moore' wouldnt beat out Grossman either

To paraphrase Pulp Fiction, this subject is deader than ****ing fried chicken.

well the annoucement that Grossman starting may have killed it but there was alot of buzz because Beck was the favorite to start according to shanahan.

Not only did he get passed over by Cam Cameron after he got a second look at him in Baltimore, but now after The Shanahans blew smoke up his rear end all off-season, they still elect to go with Grossman? Lol.

Okay then. How is this Miami Dolphins related?

This is dolphin related because some people feel this regime cut Beck without giving him a chance.
Its just as dolphin related as Carolina signing Frank Kearse( I mean he is no longer a dolphin)

well at least Shanahan made it a fair competition and Grossman outplayed him

I guess we'll see soon enough how it pans out. I know one thing, though...our QB situation may not be the greatest, but I'm liking it a whole lot more than Washington's QB mess.

Im not sure its any better. Grossman and Henne are a wash and Beck and Moore is a wash.
I think the one factor is Henne still has upiside while the other three will never be anything

Big difference...in his 8 years in the league, Grossman has only played in about 40 games. Grossman has only ONE complete season. Since that 2006 season, he's only started in 11 games. You're right, he isn't going to be better. John Beck...has only played in 5 games. Those 5 games were waaaaaaaay back in 2007 with US. These two have done VERY little in the last 4-5 years.

Matt Moore played last year. He's got recent history of starting and had one decent season (2009) in his limited playing time. Though not great, he has performed better than Beck. Henne...well we can only hope for the best with him. We all know his past. He's got tools around him to succeed this year, doesn't have to run an archaic offense, and showed a bit of improvement in preseason. Can his line help him out, that'll be the $64,000 question.

I hate shanahan. The only reason he was considered good was b/c of Elway. He ruined alot of UH boys NFL careers. I bet if he had Bess, he would ruined his too.

Still and all, they're all doing better than the QB you were so fixated on back then as the one we SHOULD have drafted. Go know :idk:

The Oakland Raiders released backup quarterback Trent Edwards as they reduced their roster to the 53-man limit. Edwards was released by the Bills last September after he lost the starting quarterback job to Ryan Fitzpatrick. He was signed a few days later by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Edwards joined the Raiders during training camp this year.

It's Dolphins related because there situation is as bad or worse then ours relative to the QB. IMO
