The defense is still pretty good.
Allowed only 79 yards and a 2.2 YPC average on the ground today against the league's 3rd best rushing team.
Brady didn't have his best game either, though he had two TDs, he only completed 55 percent of his passes and threw for only 140 yards.

Now, if we could only score points...

The defense played lights out and shut NE down and if it weren't for that bull$h!t PI call on Allen they might have won.

they have always been pretty good, very good in fact, but never EVER have enough when they need it most

The D played well but gave up another crucial pass int. call to set up the TD.

Point is, the D is good but not great. Teams know thay ultimately, Miami will screw up or self-destruct so they can be conservative. So long as Brady didn't give the ball away, the Pats knew they'd win the game. Miami is incapable of making the play when needed...on both sides of the ball.

The D might have played better.....but I am still concerned abut this unit over the long term. These guys are getting old especially our Dline.
