My Buddie has season tickets to the Bucs. I live in Sarasota about an hour south of Tampa so i drove up with him and my pops and saw the game. Front row seats and was right next to the players during warm ups. A few things i noticed....things that are more tough to acknowledge and appreciate when not in person.

1 - Ricky and Ronnie are big dudes.....lol this is a common fact. However Ricky has the most muscular legs. Ronnie's are a tad bigger, but Ricky's are all muscle.

2 - Sean Smith is clearly a man among boys. He is massive (common knowledge i know) and you can really tell that he is having fun out there. During the course of warmups i was trying to get some players attention. I yelled to Smith, "Sean your the man!" and then pointed at him...he threw up a peace sign back.

He was really the only player who acknowledged me. I yelled to Pennington, "CP i love you dude!" He kind of laughed but did not look at me.........Then continued to yell" Your my boy...etc" Still not response.

This thread has a point i promise....hah

3 - When i saw Tony walking right at me....that dude and his coaching staff are INTENSE! I was yelling "Get em going Tony!" and such. He is awesome to watch work. He yelling at dudes to warm up harder and run faster and to stop lally gagging around..... I was thouroughly impressed with him especially and Pasqueloni as well.

I guess my thread may be a little lame.....sorry lolz.

I was just trying to share a cool experience i had with you guys.......

And in sort of a wierd way i was pissed that most of the players ignored me......i guess i have some sort of misplaced ownership over the team i love and follow. I guess i thought to myself, "I put so much time and focus on the phins and then i come out here and they do me like that." haha idk if this should be my reaction....however it was...just curious if anyone else has had this weird emotion...? hah.

We did not play very well tonight however its Preseason. I was just as bummed as most of you. But the fact of the matter is im glad we had problems so we can go back and work harder and fix these things prior to the opener. Cause i guarantee if we play bad D vs ATL, Matty Ice gonna smoke us.....Im not that high on him....but tonights game should have been 14-0 at the end of the first. BTW Penny did not seem as fluid as usually throwing the medium and short ranged passes as he did the long range passes tonight. PS> That was a horrid call on Hartline for pass interference in the 1st quarter...that was a great pass and a good catch.

All in all escaped with no injuries...an UGLY win...and we are now one step closer to ATL...im gonna kick this one back to football season FINALLY being here!

Thanks guys....kind of a lame post but hey im feeling goofy....

Have a good one....God Bless

Something that I've always noticed....

Ronnie is 6'0" 230....Hilliard is 5'11" 240ish.....but Ronnie looks significantly bigger than Hilliard...

I wouldn't sweat these guys not paying you much attention for all the yelling and stuff....they have other things to worry about...like Tony Sparano crawling their *** constantly...lol

That was a terrible call on Hartline....very ticky tack IMO....

It was just odd to be that close to so many guys i love cheer for and them to just ignore me. ahaha. Hilliard looks great in warm ups but he did not get any help from the o-line tonight. Also i was pleased with Vontae's performance again. He is nasty at bump and run.

I was very impressed with Vontae Davis tonight....I'm a sucker for physical cornerbacks that can play press coverage...

But he still hasn't been tested yet....

i thought smith was good in coverage, but looked a little susceptible to slants, etc

A key observation is that ricky has big legs?...nice work.

Watched the game on television, my observations:
1) our run-blocking sucks
2) our defensive backfield sucks

Great hit on their QB, keeping him in bounds and making sure he'll feel it in the morning.

Hey if some of us are feeling down when we win a game imagine what the bucs fans were feeling yesterday in a loss.

where there a lot of dolphin fans?

how where the players vibes where they happy?

Pretty sure I heard "let's go dolphins" chants frequently on TV in the second half.

I thought the Hartline call was really bad the first couple of times I saw it. But then when I saw it for the 3rd, you will see that his arm extends, looks like he gets a very small push and catch. If the arm did not extend all the way RIGHT before the catch, it never would have been called. But they MUST call that play with the extended arm.

Really watch it again and see that it did indeed help him make the play without the defender on him, right as he caught it. Good call fellas...good call.

I don't think he even needed it to make the catch, at best the guy would have been 1 step behind still. Bad idea on Hartline's side of the ball...lol. He would have made the play either way, but the extended arm is the lock flag that close to the ball coming in.

Yeah it is weird to think that way. You love the fins? Wow, join the club.

Worst thing you can do with a professional athlete/actor..musician whatever is fan out and yell "YOU'RE MY BOY!!" and then expect them to come over and acknowledge you.

I meet pro athletes a lot and have normal conversations with them. I never even talk about sports. Of course I am 30, and you are probably younger, but that's some advice for you if you want to meet players and not freak them out..lol.

Look at it this way, we played horrible and still managed to come away with a victory. That's preseason for you ;)As for the players. The coach probably told them to stay focused. I wouldn't put too much stock into them not looking your way. With the whole tweeting fiasco, maybe Sparano told them they'd be fined if he caught them interacting with fans lol....j.k.!
