FINSTER
Dolfan Laureate
Living in NE Ohio, I am lucky enough to live about an hour from the Hall of Fame. I went today because I was born under a bad sign and not lucky enough to be able to get tickets for the enshrinement or the game. Anyway, the Hall was great! If you can get there in the next couple of weeks, DO IT!!!! Beg, Borrow, Hitchhike, do the John Candy/Steve Martin thing from "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles".......they've remodeled since 2001 when I was there last, and things have improved nicely! The enshrinee cubicles are gone, and the busts are organized by year not alphabetized. There are also computerized big screens that give video bio highlights and other info on each enshrinee, organized according to team. The gift store was great too.......alot of Marino stuff was there: tshirts, hats, jerseys, footballs, pins, etc. Bought a picture of Marino applied to wood and "cut out" so it looks like it is standing. The gift store was pretty cool........Only the Pro Shop in Davie is better IMO. By the way, I did see 2 Ricky items in there......1) a bobblehead minus the dreads and with a chinbeard and 2) a weeble type thing. And yes, in anticipation of Ricky's coming back Sunday, they were full price! The HOF is football nirvana!
