if the chargers win this week we're guaranteed to still be alive going into the last week no matter what happens on sunday. we can lose and baltimore and cincinnati win but as long as san diego beats oakland we'll still be alive.

remember if theres a 3 way tie between miami, baltimore and san diego we get in. if we all finsih 9-7 we're in, but if us and baltimore finish 9-7 and san diego 8-8 we're out.

so whether we beat buffalo or not its very important san diego wins to still give us a shot to get in at 9-7.
 
Just win...don't need to rely on umpteen scenarios...just freakin win and we're in.
 
honestly, i dont mind san diego, they r a likeable team, but i am not a huge charger fan.

what i am is a huge dolphin fan, and all that matters is the dolphins winning from here on out.
 
Winning franchises win to get in......losing franchises rely on scenarios to back in.....with Tanny on our side, were a winning franchise. FINS UP!!!
 
Ill take any scenario getting into the playoffs. It's not like we can be picky. I'd prefer if we win in, but if it takes the team from a whale's vagina winning to help us in so be it.
 
why are people ragging others for explaining playoff scenarios?! I, for one, appreciate the heads up!
 
I can definitely see us losing to the Jets in our last game, but beating the Bills this week. The Jets can beat good teams. Rex and the team hate us, so you know they will be fired up to beat us and kill out playoff chances. That said I still expect us to beat both teams and win out - I'm just saying I can also see a last week heart breaker too.

It would be really nice if we got some help from SD (winning both), CIN, or BAL (losing both). It would suck to lose to either one of these teams, but I would instantly forget if we still got into the playoffs, where anything can happen.

I think SD will beat OAK this week, but they have KC in the last game. Any chance KC is locked in for that final game and rests the starters?
 
We need to root for the Dolphins and no one else. If the Ravens beat the Pats it won't matter as long as we win out. We win out we are in 100% no matter what scenario. Now I wish bengals will lose again so we can afford to lose 1-2 and still make it.

Pretty simple, forget about all scenarios, and just win two more games, and we get in as a wild card (Extremely probable), or as the AFC East champs (Still a chance if the Pats also do the unthinkable, and lose two in a row).
 
This last two weeks will shape a lot of people's minds and it has little to do with what other teams do.
Miami can get it if they beat two division rivals, with losing records and that are out of the playoffs. Can you beat two bottom feeders in your division with the playoffs on the line?
 
I think there's a very good chance we clinch a playoff spot this week. If we beat the Bills, NE beats the Ravens, and Min beats Cin. Then we clinch a playoff spot. No way NE let's Bmore beat them with so much on the line, and Min is a much better team than many people realize.
