Sparano was below average borderline bad. The year that you're talking about, he got lucky with the wildcat formation. Which was something new and different at that time. After that formation was figured out though, any success he had quickly evaporated.

Give this group of players to Belichick and he'd win 5 championships. I hate to say that....but our coaching is pitiful. It's really unbelievably bad. Sherman is so awful!!! This team has no heart because the coaches are terrible.
