Not sure if it is the Bubble, but the Phins have had a disturbing trend lately of starting the year poorly. I remember taking it for granted that we would be 7-1 or better.
I really believe that the Bubble is a part of it. I'm really old so I remember things, lol. We would always tear up the first half of seasons. Then during the late season games we would go to Buffalo, Foxbro etc and lose games. Often they were playoff games.
The Bills etc would have short sleeves on and act like the cold did not bother them. WE would be covered from head to toe with all sorts of warmers. And sure enough, we would lose.
We used to always play home games at 1:00pm in the heat and humidity. Then Ross decided that for the Fan's comfort, games would be at 4:00pm or later. I think he now gets it that the fans want to win, not have a cozy place to come watch the team lose.
Again, look at the Green Bay fans, they freeze and love it because it helps them win.
