I'm totally convinced that we're only keeping 2 QBs - Pennington and Henne. We'll try to get some trade value from Beck. Release McC. and, we'll get some other teams leftover later - maybe like a DJ Shockley, or some other young, athletic QB.
 
That is brilliant. If both go down, who will be QB? Jake Long?
 
It's very peculiar what they are doing. Chad Henne really serves no purpose playing the 4th quarter against guys who wont be playing for the Jags next weekend.
 
i think you could be right. i sure hope the tuna is looking for another wr,ot, and and a dt for depth. it looks like we might could have a good season if we stay healthy

If you read what I said again, you'll understand that we'll get rid of Beck and McC and then get another QB later when teams do their 53 cut! But, it wouldn't totally surprise me if we only keep 2 and didn't look for a 3rd.
 
I'm guessing you guys are watching the game - why else would they be playing Henne into the 4th!

It would surprise me, not carrying three QB's is idiocy, especially when your starter has a history of shoulder injuries and bad hips (though he didn't look it tonight).

you're right about the injury prone Pennington but they may want to keep extra WRs and OLs. If there is injury to QB you can get one like Carolina signed Testaverde off his couch! I really wouldn't suggest it, nor would I want a "Testaverde" - but, though unlikely, I wouldn't be surprised!
 
There is a multitude of reasons why we will not cut one of our 4 QB's and then pickup another one such as salary cap issues, experience, familiarity to name a few. I would say that the fins dump McCown and Beck is the #3 after tonight. The reason Henne is playing all of tonight is to give him experience. The next game, Pennington will play the first half since it is a warmup game.
