We are a 500 team.. we were during preseason, we were at the start of the season and we're still on route to being a 500 team.. and I still predict we'll be 8-8...

There is good and bad.. the O-line is still improving, Chad is still learning and our two young DB's are getting some very valuable playing time.. My only question is why are they being told to play so soft?? Their young, quick and can stay with almost any receiver.. put them up to the line of scrimmage and when they do get burned.. write it off to them still learning the speed and quality of the NFL..

In the bright side.. we hung in there today well in the 4th qtr.. Fergie not being in the game sure did effect the run stop game and with him in there, our D would have shut down Brady a little bit more...

Try to keep everything into perspective.. The team is improving over last year, they will be better next year and it wont be too long before we're one of the better teams in the league..

yeah this is how i feel im just as pissed off as anyone about the loss but i diddnt except us to be superbowl contenders this year anyway as long as each year our team gets better im fine with that

We are not a .500 team right now. We are two games under .500.

The schedule should balance this out when we start to play the weaker teams. There's a good chance that we will have lost to one, if not both, of the teams that will be in the superbowl this year.

I feel really good about ending 8-8.. just look at our remaining schedule.. there is only 3 losses there..

Agreed about what level of team we have. as far as........................

They have to much of the time due to the fact that the DL is giving QB's way to much time.

At this point, I think I would be happy with an 8-8 record. To finish the season 5-3 would be nice. Probably a little unrealistic, but it would be nice.

I agree with the original post a lot- I'm as pissed as anyone else about the loss, but this is still a young team that I thought showed pretty good chops today at times. Still too many drops, but I liked the way Henne played for the most part, aside from the time-out mistake... The receivers have to catch the damn ball. I also agree with the Patriot fan's observation of us being a stud WR away from being a dangerous team. I know Parcells hates drafting WR's early, but if there is a stud at our pick, he HAS to take him. Period.

Its a balance type thing.. the harder it is to find that open receiver, the longer the QB holds the ball..
