It's hard to think that this team is still in a rebuilding process. it doesnt seem that way with the expectations for them and what not. personally i think the rebuilding is done with but its still mind blowing that this team went from the worst in the league to a playoff team and a team thats worth talking about in a matter of months. whats your thoughts on the whole thing??

oh and btw. chad henne and wilford both looked way better tonight then last game. and wilford actually looks like he wants to play football.

Miami is way past the rebuilding stage. Where at the playoff contender stage now. Next year, we should be elite.

Rebuilding includes adding depth. We are not done yet. It's normally a 3 year process. Yes we are performing well but we have remained healthy. If we have injuries along the OL we are in serious trouble.

2 things this team still lacks....a big playmaker on both sides of the ball and strong depth....we have come a long way in 2 yrs!!

Your not rebuilt until your depth is as good as your best.

if you think about what you just said, thats impossible. no team in the league has depth that is as good as the starters. just look at the QB position for every team. no way the back-ups are as good as the starters at QB. and thats just one position.

Yep...another couple of years...but we are on our way...

as seen last season when the run game was basically irrelevant between the tackles minus the wildcat.

Soliai has actually suprised me. You couldn't tell a difference in the run game between him and Ferg. Now if he can keep up the work, he will be fine.

I don't think we are rebuilding, we are just building. We have a solid foundation but the structure is not complete. Yes, we have some areas to improve but the term rebuilding does not have the connotation that I associate with this team.

JT, JP are big playmakers
Sean Smith could possibly be one
How many big players on offense did Parcell's Giants team have? Simms, Meggett?? They had a physical offensive line with a consistent running game, an efficient but unspectacular QB (Simms), a good TE (Bavaro) and solid/serviceable WR's (Baker, Ingram, McConkey)
See a pattern here?

That statement can be made about every team that DOES NOT win the SB.
We outplayed a pretty good Carolina team in the 1st half. A team that was 12-4 last season.
Some pundits have declared the Panthers a SB contender in the NFC.
We are in the mix
