Wes Welker a Dolphin?

I just heard it through word-of-mouth.True?
My big brother told me just now that we signed him (a sports radio news update).

Never mind. False alarm. My brother, knowing that I am on pins and needles at this point of the year, was pulling my leg.
Regardless, I do want him to sign. I think he can be a positive influence, at the least, for the young guys. I do not know how much he has in the tank, but I would not mind him being a Dolphin - a one-year deal @ the minimum.

Coming back to visit the team he dissed when he went off to the cheatriots to not win a SB. Pretty desperate.

I don't think he could make the final roster anyway. So it really doesn't matter if he's signed to a 1 yr prove it deal.
of course, I'm assuming they will use 1 or 2 draft picks on a WR and likely bring in several UDFA WRs. Any young WR with upside I would prefer over Welker.

The only way I could understand signing Wes Welker would be if Jarvis Landry got hurt, and we needed a slot replacement.

But even in that scenario, it would probably be better to just let Rishard Matthews take over the slot position.

I hope we don't sign him. We gave him the chance to shine and he wanted to leave. Stay the F out. Bye bye welker.

Yeah, I hope we didn't sign him. His brains are one hit away from being scrambled eggs.

We brought back Ricky Williams and he left at a time when he was great. Only to leave the team to do things illegal . Only reason Ricky came back was owing a ton of money. He never was great after that.
At least Welker has played at a good level.
