wes welker on espn radio now!

Heres a report of welker on espn radio for those who did not hear it.

At the beginning the hosts and welker talked about how good he was in his high school days and how hard it was to get a scholarship in colledge with him being undersized.

Q. How much talent does miami have this year?
W. "Ive never been around so many talented guys in my life, I pinch myself that im even on this team"

Q. How healthy is pep?
W."daunte is ready to make every throw that he is required to and we are really confident in him"

Q.Can ronnie brown carry the load?
W. "he can"

Q.Is this defense is starting to age "no not at all" ,"some of these older guys move better than the younger guys"

Q.What should our expectations for the dolphins be?
W."play winning football."

Q.host prods him for more info on expectations than "play winning football"
W.(seemed uncomfortable answering question) "If we play winning football, and play winning football every game win or lose then etc etc"
"if everything takes care of itself we should be in the superbowl and win it"
(note. the way wes phrased it was more like, IF we do everthing right THEN we have a chance to win the SB, he did not sound like he was bragging or saying WE WILL WIN THE SB or anything)

Q.Who has the worst ride on the team?
W. probably me, 2002 tahoe

Q.Whos got the best ride?
W. dante prolly has the best cars.

man all these dolphins players now have that sabanized speech, haha...

yeah you've noticed that too? a majority of the time for each player that i listen to in their interviews, they talk exactly how Saban does. That shows me right there that everyone including the new guys have bought into everything Saban has preached within the last 2 years.
