Wes Welker on Saban

Saban, who left with three years worth $15 million remaining on his contract, also told Huizenga and his players he was not interested in Alabama.

''I think everybody lies at some point in their lives,'' receiver Wes Welker said. ``I think it's one of those deals where you maybe tell a girl she looks good when she really doesn't. I think it was . . . OK to tell that lie in order to get the results he needed.''

Saban personally called Welker and some teammates with the news, but others including cornerback Travis Daniels -- who played for Saban at Louisiana State and says Saban ''molded me'' -- said they didn't hear from the coach.

The Dolphins will try to retain offensive-line coach Hudson Houck regardless of who becomes head coach.

thats great news about Houck. He's worked with Cameron before already with the chargers. You'd have to assume there's some chemistry there.

I can't wait to hear all the players comment on this. I hope they all tear into him. Seems like alot of people didn't like his all that much.
