And rightfully so, we know what we need to come out of this draft with in the 1st and 2nd, an impact player in our defensive front 7 and a starting LG. May or may not happen but regardless, pick 97 will be lurking.

I've stated that I believe that pick should be used on the most talented possible player we can acquire almost irregardless of position. We've struck out a lot in the third round (although I am one of the few who thinks Carroo could turn into something and certainly glad to have Kenyan Drake on my team) and this would be a pleasant surprise to get value out of this spot.

Some guys I like at 97 would be CB Desmond King, TE Adam Shaheen, CB Sidney Jones (obviously worth a gamble that late if available).

Curious to know who some of the guys are you feel a lot of people are just missing the boat on in their mock drafts.

Corn Elder, tyrus bowser, Marcus maye..few names I like not sure of their draft projections

Maybe Pat Elfein, depending on how they go at #22.

22. Jarrad Davis
54. Demarcus Walker
97. Pat Elfein

We could also go CB or S at #54, very deep DB class this year.

Shaquil Griffith, Ryan Anderson or Cornelius Elder; I'm not sure any of these players will be available at 97, but if they are, any one of them could help.

I'd jump for joy at Elfein. I didn't include him in my list because I can't see him lasting that long. As a lifelong Buckeyes fan and a huge proponent of taking OL, I couldn't understate enough how perfect he'd be at 97. Pipe dream.

If we happen to take defense with both of our first two picks because certain value is just too high at DE, LB or FS I'd sell out to land Elfein with a trade up in the 3rd round. He could be our LG in 2017 with an eye at eventually replacing Pouncey at Center.

In the third round I want someone who will make an impact in every game. Full-time starter, situational player, special teams, I don't care. What he can't be is just another guy.

Corn Elder. Getting Bobby McCain off the field immediately improves our defense. Talk about an impact.

Oh man, I've seen Obi reach the first in some circles. Getting him in the third would be amazing

@ 97?

That depends on the first two picks. I'd like a CB/FS hybrid, FS, guard, and edge rusher in any particular order (and of course Njoku if available. ;)). Best player available, so any of those four for 97 for me and I'll be happy.
