WFAN in NY reporting Herm Edwards is gone

Do they have confirmation or are they just speaking about their own fantasy world like usual??

Hello Everyone!


Because the staff at FinHeaven is always looking for better ways to organize, and streamline the site, we've decided to re-structure a portion of it.
You'll notice that what was once the College| Draft Forum has now been split.
We've renamed the original forum to simply "College Football" and created a new forum called "Draft Forum". We are now in the process of moving threads around so that they are in the appropriate forums.
We've also created a new sub-forum within the General NFL forum, called "Free Agents".
We ask that you keep these forums in mind when posting, as we'd like to continue keeping the main Dolphins forum uncluttered, and pertaining to the current Dolphins team.

When posting, please keep these guidelines in mind:

Miami Dolphins - Please keeps threads related to current Dolphins players/staff etc here

College Football - Please keep threads related to current college teams/players/games here

Draft Forum - Please keep mock drafts/draft wish lists/potential draft picks, etc in here.

Free Agents - Please keep discussions about potential free agents here.

We realize that this may mean an adjustment for everyone, but we feel that in the long run it will make things easier for all of us. Not only will it make it "cleaner" and uncluttered in the main forum, but it will also make it easier to find the FA discussions, mock drafts etc...

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact the Staff either by PM or by posting in the Questions and Comments forum.

Thanks in advance for your anticipated cooperation, and we look forward to an active offseason of improving our Dolphins through free agency and the draft, and an exciting 2006 football season!

Compensation picks for a coach leaving? Maybe I'm an idiot but I don't think I've heard of that. Oh well :evil:

they said that a kansas city radio station is reporting it, and it was included on the 20:20 update. mike says it could be announced as early as tonight

Reports are saying Herm is going to KC for 2 compensation picks.


herm is taking DC donnie edwars with him.

The new Coach of the Jets is their OC Heimerdinger!!!!! Former OC for the Titans.

Gruden to the Bucs from the Raiders for a 1st and 2nd(or something like that)? Mortensen was saying today in a chat that he could see them giving a 2nd OR 3rd for Edwards but no more. So it seems that if the Jets are getting more than 1 pick they are making out.

also, the Jets got compensation when Belichick left.

Disregard the first source in that Breaking News topic on the forum. That part of the deal was not legit or not confirmed at all yet. Look through to the middle of the topic to see the updated news source.
 
Henderson will NOT be going with Edwards to KC.

I'd like to see a guy like Ferentz brought in, but that's not very likely. Heimerdinger, without Herm putting the handcuffs on him, will certainly do a good job rebuilding the offense. Hopefully Henderson is back. If not, Dinger will bring in someone.
 
The are reporting a 3rd and a 5th here in NY for Herm Edwards. Is he really worth that much?????
 
I believe that there cannot be any compensations given for coaches any more...

I believe that that is the NFL rule...
