Admirals. The day they said the new name will be announced on Feb 2, WashingtonAdmirals.com redirected you to the WFT site. They have since changed it.

At least thatā€™s the popular belief in the media. :shrug:

No idea, but I'm surprised there isn't a name on the list someone can't spin as offensive. I was expecting something like 'Sky,' or 'Capitols.'
 
The Washington Bastards would be a great name.

The fans would be Bastard Fans
Players and staff could wear Iā€™m A Bastard T Shirts
 
I'm getting used to "Football Team" and the name has history from the origins of the team, so I'd stick with it. "We don't need no stinkin' mascot"

I just hope whatever they pick somehow has some accidental random racist implications from like 300 years ago. I'd love nothing more than to sit back at watch all the calamity ensue.
