What a day, I got laid.....

Sad to hear it. Keep an open mind, sometimes something better will be right there...

Been there myself friend. Everything happens for a reason. Chin up! Tell ya what. If you can finacially afford it, take the summer off and hit the ground running in September! This will give you some time for some R&R and let you think about what road you want to go down next! GOOD LUCK!

Oh bro. Sorry to hear that. I wish I could offer you a job but, pretty soon, I won't have one either.

If there is anything we can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.

I know what it's like not having a job to go to, been there myself. For me, the job loss was a blessing. I had the opportunity to spend more time with my family/friends and do all the things I wished I had time to do while I was working.

"I" realized that I was working too hard & neglected myself & my family. Use the time wisely because an opportunity like this may never come again.

You only have one life to live so it might as well be with the one you love.

Good luck!

I'm really sorry to hear that Paul. I'm going through a similar situation myself. I know I won't take a good income for granted anymore. I hope your fortunes turn around quickly.

What a day, I got laid.....

Well when I read the title of the thread I was initially very happy for you.

Sorry to hear about the job.
Loss of a job or failure of a business are never fun things to go through.
Good luck in acquiring a position with comparable or better Money.

If you can, like others said, take time with your family and enjoy it before you have to go back to the grind.

Thanks guys, it was a shock but you know I am all right, it isn't the end of the world. I had actually started to look at other jobs, sales always knows and my company wasn't getting it done.

It was fun but weird to be home with my boys and be able to get up with them tomorrow, its summer time, I am on the dole and I can now golf! Savings are going to get a little low but hey, my next job will build that up. Can now teach my kids golf and t-ball, go swimming at the in laws mansion and have a family holiday. I get to go home to Cayman in 2 weeks so this works too, maybe I will stay a day or two longer.

I think next Monday I will be hitting the network hard. If anyone knows any companies that need repsup in the midwest, let me know.

Cheers

Paul

Sorry to hear brother! Keep your chin up, things will get better before you know it. What kind of sales do you do bro?

Been there myself. It gets better. Just keep your head up and stay positive.

FFIC, last 7 years I have been in technology, straight networking services or hardware. Going to get out of that, either get my series 7 and 65, and go to work for a Financial firm, or I am thinking of getting into wholesale and work for a company like Janus or Ameriprise. I keep accounts and sell well into relationship based accounts like that. I sold the crap out of that at my last place. Plus it gives me an expense budget and golf. Either that there are a bunch of BioMed firms here, I had my degree in Viral Genetics so I could probably move into that area, as I enjoy selling into C-Level or Hospital Admins. MaybeI will move back to Cayman and become a beach bum.
