1 key factor into yest game was hwen NE starting RG went out. I kept a close eye on it and I noticed one thing, that back up caused many problems for NE. He had a holding penalty on a kick return, collapsed the pocket and allowed that Sack by Alford on the last drive of the game for NE. What a differnce just 1 single person on a line made. He was a 2nd stringer....look at our team, its full of those 2nd stringers esp on our D line and O line. I think we need 3 new guys on our O line and thats what needs to be fixed FIRST and foremost.

Draft a franchise LT and 2 Guards and our entire offense will be better. We'll still more receivers and a tight end but it would make our current players more effective.

I would say that on our current OL, Vernon, Samson and Rex are all above average NFL starters. RT and LG are the two weak spots, depending on if we do indeed re-sign Rex or not.

we need a LT, move carey to RT, get a LG, and a RG cuz if ima pay 6 mill to a G known had HADNOT our cheap organization should have done the 6.5 deal HUTCH was asking for 2 yrs ago. So theres no way i keep hadnot for 4 mill PLUS. not happening man.

I think this theory is off target considering the way the G-men DL has been playing the last half of the season and playoffs. While I agree that we have a mediocre OL, one player won't fix what ails us, just like one player didn't hurt so bad for the Pats.

The Pats, if you remember, are supposed to be the 'masters' of the "system"...just plug another guy in after your starter gets injured and keep on going...Everyone was ranting and raving about the Pats ability to just plug in guys in the secondary and keep on truckin'....

So I completely disagree with the thought that Hochstein caused the all the problems for the Pats. They simply got physically beat by a better team on that day...

Who wasn't being man handled when Brady gets hit 28 times. There may have been more of an issue than the RG.

People forget that one of the reasons why the Giants defense got better is that they began to start 3 DE on the DL and rotate DT's in and out aside from Justin Tuck for the main part. Better pash rush, better defense - atleast it worked for them.

But really we have address both lines and fast if we are going to be competitive any time soon. DT & DE, LT,and G and we will be on our way but not finished.

What he said.

Give the Giants their due. They brought it.

It was Stephen Neal and he was getting his butt handed to him prior to his injury.
