Watching this KC and Indy game, I am reminded how many times RT made a mistake and the defense seemed to become non-existent. When your defense steps up and makes some stops, you are able to get back into a game. Indy hasn't created turnovers, their defense hasn't scored any points and neither has the special teams. Their defense just got off the field on 3rd down. This seemed to be our elephant in the room. RT is not a perfect qb and he is still learning, but the kid can sling the dang ball and make the throws necessary to get the team back in the game, but if the defense keeps giving up 8-10 minute drives and touchdowns every time the other team touches the ball in games like this, there is no qb in the league who can win those games.

I'd say KC's defense lost them the game today and Indy's defense almost did the same. Offense rules in the NFL.

So simple isnt it? The real story of that game is how K.C.s defense went to sleep!

what defense, I didn't see any defense today.....I watched two teams run up and down the field on each other....on that last drive by KC guys were just running out of bounds not trying to pick up extra yardage....Andy Reid has to be sick....

Depends how the refs call the game - it's a crap shoot each week - every Ganymede down to 3 - 4 plays on either side of the ball

Agreed. I was expecting a dominant performance from the well rested Chiefs Defense......and they were pretty bad. TY Hilton torched them all through the 2nd half.

Chiefs have had a pretty overrated defense most of the season. They got destroyed 2nd half of the season when they started playing some high power offenses, and got destroyed again in the playoffs. They were amazing when they played the Giants, Jags, Raiders, Cowboys, and Michael Vick led Eagles, but they gave up over 25 points 5 times in the final 7 games of the season and got embarrassed again against the Colts.

When your Def. is forced to not allow opposing teams to score over 20 pts or you lose, you got a problem. The day where Def. rules in NFL is going by the wayside. You might be able to squeak out some low scoring wins in the reg. season, come playoff time you better put some damn pts on the board.

I expected KC to win the game but I admit I hadn't seen them play much this year. It must suck to start 9-0 and then bow out in the first round. But then it sucks more to be in the Dolphins position.

Seriously??????

It is ironic to read from those who are absolutely enamored with Tannehill pointing out to those who are the slightest bit critical that they are ridiculous and grasping for straws and ...and..and...and it is everybody's fault but....

But to say that our D did not bail our O out (or Tannehill in particular) is pathetic.

Di you really think that would remain unchallenged?

Just for slow thinkers:
our O is #8 in points allowed. Yes #8. Of the 7 teams ahead of us are 6 teams who made it to the playoffs.

Do you want to start with the offense now?

Yep. And when your QB misses 2 wide open deep TDs per game its a ****ing killer.

a one point game after 89 total points ... DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!! DEFENSE!!!
