Love the choice of captains...logical decisions....the thing that stands out tho is the fact that Sparano is choosing a different special teams captain each week. Brilliant move.....it ensures that the guys on the bottom third of the roster have an opportunity to get recognized with good play...and the carrot is always there..

This allows more people to feel like they are an important part of the team...even the last guy.

I also love the fact that Sparano told Hagan he got outplayed by Camarillo in preseason. And is taking 2nd team snaps....this whole roster has to think if they don't produce THIS WEEK...(whatever week that maybe)...that they can be embarrased and lose their job! Great move....and he is believable with it...cause he tells it like it is!!

Beats the hell out of Cameron and his bumbling double talk...and poor decisions....like not coaching the last preseason game then saying he was making decisions...and giving up play calling duties...then saying he didnt....that indecision was the same problem with Wanny....its refreshing to see it done right.

This team wont be squib kicking the ball....they will be putting their proverbial foot on the opponents neck when they have a lead...not sitting on the ball (not that cam ever had a chance but wanny did)

Just nice to see some confidence and swagger...this is going to be a fun year!!!

People all over this board are creaming their pants over exactly the same things they were last year. How you can tell that there is a difference between this year, from last year or that year from the year before is ridiculous to me. At the end of the season we can look back in hindsight and evaluate the decisions.

no whats ridiculous is the fact that that you fail to acknowledge the obvious. If Chad Pennington stays healthy this is a good team. They have leadership, the players have bought in, their front seven will stop the run, we will be able to run the ball. Combined with an easy schedule there is no way this team isnt VASTLY improved. stop being so negative...are you a fan? it's time to get fired up for a great season...i'm sorry they've disappointed you for years...doesnt mean it will always be that way....they will finally be fun to watch again
