Manning released, Drew Brees livid about franchise tag and wont sign it, Flynn not franchised. We are finally getting a QB folks!

How can it be like Culpepper we dont have to give up picks to get a real franchise QB.

Either way things are on way up. Brady getting a year older if we get Manning and find our qb of future in this draft or next division could be ours for awhile

actually really not that certain.
1. brees livid about being franchised- he will still be a saint or will hold out, he is not an option for us
2. flynn not being franchised- i dont see how that is really a positive, flynn blows, he would not make our team better
3. manning- this is our best and most realistic option. if we fail to get manning, we really wont be able to upgrade the position so much if at all from last year.

NE is grooming Mallett right behind Brady. They could make a modern day Montana to Young transition.

The Peyton Manning decision drags out, Flynn signs elsewhere, Rams trade their number 2 pick, and Peyton still hasn't signed. Then Peyton signs elsewhere and we bring back in Chad Henne. What an offseason that would be.. I might actually cry real man tears...

That is my biggest fear. I read somewhere about Manning targeting now until next Friday to decide where he is going. If that is the case, we may miss out on Flynn, if he really is our #2 option. I am excited, but I hope the timeline does not work against us. Free agency starts Tuesday. Hopefully, Ross can sell the Dolphins to Manning before then!!
