Hello everyone...newbie here. I'll try not to make this post the sequel to War & Piece! Anyway, the owner of the company I work for has been friends with Garo Yepremien for a while and I've gotten to know him too(btw, he hits a mean golf ball). As some of you may know, Garo has a foundation for the research and cure of brain tumors. Sadly his daughter in-law fought for five years and passed 3 weeks ago. His celebrity banquet was tonight and I was lucky enough to attend. The guest speaker was none other than Don Shula. I was once again lucky enough to have a chance for my son and I to get his autograph and talk with him a bit(I was amazed I could speak!:goof: ) I told him my favorite 'phins memory was sitting in Giants stadium in the endzone where Dan threw the clock play. It seemed hard for him to believe that that was 1994. I also had a chance to say hello to Earl Morrall and since I live near Philly, a bunch of former Eagles players. The thing that struck me about these retired athletes is similar to how I felt when I used to talk to my grandfather who was a WWII vet. There's no ego, or swagger. They're just a bunch of guys that had a job to do and went out and did it. Anyway, when I get the pictures back I'll post them for you guys. Thanks for letting me ramble a bit!
