I know Porter has been more productive and not injured so he is obviously our key guy... But any thoughts on Arrington who was released by the Giants... as an alternate

He's got bad knees which may be degenerative and is coming off a bad achillies injury.

Probably not worth it.

I have thoughts on arrington but none of them are positive
 
to be interested in arrington two things need to happen.

1. we don't get joey porter (we better get him)
2. he comes cheap
 
Injury prone, and underachieving, except against Dallas when he got injured.

Someone will scoop him up though, later in the FA Period. I wouldnt mind him if he was cheap, but def. not to rely on him as a starter.

i was thinking about arrington earlier on today...he was really starting to play lights out until his injury and his injury was very unfortunate to both him and the giants last year...i would say he's def a look however you can forget that if we sign our first option joey porter
 
For cheap I think he's worth the gamble. Maybe something like a 3 year deal tops..but of course if we land porter, no reason to go after him.
 
I'll pass.
He's been injury prone and he didn't live up to his contract last year.
