What about Bob? (Dion)

I remember people thinking the same way with Ricky Williams.....Actually it was worse toward Ricky in the beginning and we all see how that turned out...

We're in a position to where we can let this thing play out and see if he's a stud or a dud. There was just to much talent there to ignore and hopefully the mind will follow....I tell ya this years team should be called "The Miami Crap Shots"........

Just go away Dion Jordan.

EDIT: Take both D. Thomas' with you on the way out the door.

Ricky had talent. Ricky carried this team for a couple of years.

Dion has showed nothing.

Still many people hated Ricky and didn't want to give him another chance......

Dion has been stupid and immature can he grow out of it ? HEY, look it's another one of those ? I'm just in the camp of seeing which one comes to camp, we can always get rid of him and more importantly we are at a point in team development that it won't kill us to see. ....Again, We Don't KNOW !.....

If hes changed we have a hell of a player if not See ya...But unless they have added information that he has not matured then I feel its a litigate shot to take, which has a huge potential to pay off big time...

I keep him regardless and let it play out.....I would never just cut him and take a chance another team picks him up and things turn around with Dion and we pay the price again....this time for years ...

Get the guy reinstated, then to camp. If a surprise positive, great. Same as an extra draft pick. If his normal old self, then he is a camp body until released forever.

Getting rid of him is stupid and if you feel that way I am thankful your not the GM of the Dolphins.

Our only move is to see what he can do on the field which he really hasn't had much chance to do, yes that's because of his own decisions but moving on from him is absolutely nonsense right now.

Why is Josh Gordon still a Brown? If there is a chance Jordan will pan out, it should be with us.

Your emotional feelings toward the player should have no bearing on whether we keep him.

That said, I still think he's a talented guy and would hate to see him realize that talent elsewhere. It's a no-brainer that he will get a shot and possibly contribute right away with Wake's injury.

What are the financials on him at this point in time? If he is reinstated and we cut him what is the hit on the cap?

The guy appears to have substance abuse issues and the Dolphins under Ireland/Philbin had no clue how to use him properly. He's a 3-4 outside linebacker that the team tried to convert into a 4-3 defensive end. He had issues in the 4-3 with stopping the run and was injured for the majority of his rookie season. Based on one or two plays many on this board believe he can cover Gronkowski, but the sample size is so small here to be insufficient to make a judgement.

Given that he appears not to have kept himself in shape during his suspension I have serious doubts that he could make the team, but I suppose the team will have to do whatever is best under the cap to protect itself. If he fails then chalk him up as another example of how Jeff Ireland screwed up this franchise.

I did not know he was in bad condition. If that is true he may not even be a camp body

Can't imagine how out of shape he must be. Remember the photo of him and his girlfriend? He had a pot belly and his arms looked flabby. The guy is a total failure and a turd. I hope he never plays again.

He's probably insanely out of shape, and I don't expect anything from him.

BUT if he did try to turn it around, guys with his genetics can get in shape in a month if they want.

Sorry, this clown doesn't deserve the the privilege of wearing a Dolphins uniform. Just more proof of our Front Office's incompetence.
