Just 'spitballin' this one.

Mahomes just got head-fuct by that bone head play at the end of the 1st half. That whole team's body language was off in the 2nd half.

They’re not gonna get as many SBs as it looked like they would a few tears ago…between Mahomes contract and a few others, they’re going to need defensive help.

They were never able to recover from the end of the end of the 1st half. Mahomes was a totally different QB after halftime and so was the Chiefs o-line.

Maybe Lou Anarumo figured out something. In the second half Mahomes was holding the ball running around trying to create magic. He looked very ordinary in the second half and his turnovers coupled with a defensive collapse cost KC the game. A few times the pass rush got to him and ended drives. That was big, maybe LBer coach Al Golden should get some credit, former UM coach!! But, either no one was open or Mahomes was really bothered by the pressure, likely a combination of the two. If this was Miami the fans would be ready to part with Mahomes!! He's not a franchise QB!!! Sure he's not!!! Coach Marion Hobby coaches the Bengals Defensive line, remember him, he did a very good job here but I believe Flo fired him after he led a top 10 unit!! What is it with Flores and Assistant Coaches? Can anyone verify why Hobby left? Was he canned or did the Bengals promote him? It was the Dline that chased Mahomes out of the building last night. BTW, Hobby gets a lot of credit for the development of Christian Wilkins and R. Davis!
