He's got great hands, runs good routes, and has a little size (6'1", 215lbs). If we sign him to a decent contract, we don't have to worry about drafting a WR and can focus on MLB, OL, or DB.

The guy has got zero sniffs and could be had on a 1 year prove it deal.

This. It's not like the market is big on him. He shouldn't be that expensive. I would sign him for a 1 year deal.

Yeah I've mentioned this few times seems like a low risk move for cheap. His injury history and lack of explosion has people scared.

lack of yearn too... he has been a waste from the start anyways!!! just to add to above!!!

He is down to SD and Washington.

He is getting no love or looks cause he has lost his speed and burst since the Achilles injury

Gets hurt a lot. Nahhhhh I would pass on Crabtree.

Stevie Johnson is the best receiver left on the market.

Sherman says he's sorry. Pass. Just another long line of receivers who never amounted to their draft status.

Greg Jennings at low cost wouldn't be bad but hear we are trading up for cooper.get your dreamboat ready.

Stevie Johnson - WR - Free Agent
Free agent WR Stevie Johnson will visit the Patriots on Monday.
Johnson met with the Chargers on Friday, but left without a contract. He wouldn't project as more than a sub-package receiver in New England. Johnson had a 35/435/3 line with the 49ers last season.

I would draft a WR, but we need at least 1 vet on this team. I wouldn't mind Jennings all that much either.

I find it hard to believe we could get Cooper; however, the only reason I can't totally disregard it is b/c Tannebaum is in charge now...he sacrificed picks and traded up quite often in his drafts w/ the Jets (Dirty Sanchez, Revis, Shonn Greene, David Harris, etc.).

I would be ok with Jennings as a mentor to our current receiving corp and draft pick in the first round. As long as his signing was cap friendly, which I'm sure it would be with this FO. Our receivers are young and need the tutoring.
