What about drafting Eric Weddle??

I have looked at stats for both LaRon Landry and Eric Weddle at the Safety spot, I know that the possibility of the us landing Landry is a snowball chance in Hades, but I think that Weddle may be just as productive for us in the later rounds. He is a possible 3 round guy and we could pick him up if he is still on the board. Weddle has played both safety and corner, that alone gives us some depth at either position. He has the ability to be where the action is, he is smart and solid tackler, his versatility can be used much like Troy Polamalu. I know what your thinking...that the game is much faster in the NFL and it will take time, but I believe that he has a lot of upside......thoughts??

Weddle is definitely worth looking at in the 3rd or 4th if he's still there. Big time potential.

This guy is a playmaker. He had 7 Int's last year and 3 TD's. Great work ethic, played both sides of the ball last year. He won't last the 2nd round.
