Ravens released LG Edwin Mulitalo.

Although he's 32, Mulitalo seems likely to get another job quickly. He missed most of 2006 with a torn triceps. Jason Brown will start for the Ravens.

i think we should try to sign him, he just played 4 games last year because of injury, but when he's healthy, he's one of the best guards in the nfl and we need a left guard! :cooldude: what do you guys think?

if it was only a torn tricep..thats not that much of an injury. Left Guard is one if not the weakest position on the squad. I say give him a look and if Hauck is impressed which he should be considering what our OL has been doing vs what the ravens lines has been doin...pick him up and then draft Joe Staley in the second or Kalil and we wouldnt have to spend day one picks on OL to have a solid complete line

I think we should bring him in. He has been on a good o-line for sometime, he can bring his skills here.

If we sign him he must come cheap. He is older and injury prone. I live in Baltimore and the Ravens aren't happy about releasing him.

Sure worth a look. Might be a great signing if he is healthy.

I'd love this signing. But not for some assenine price like the rest of the mediocre guards have gotten this offseason.

But I'd want to make sure his tricept is fully healed. That is one of the most underrated muscles for any football player. Especially offensive linemen.

When you always hear about "hand placement" and "pop at the line of scrimmage," a lot of that power comes from the tricepts.

who is gonna play LT??

Supposedly we really like Anthony Alabi, a 6'5" 315 lb. guy with long arms and quick feet. He's got all the tools you want in a left tackle. He's country strong too.

He was just raw coming out of college and he faced lesser competition. That's why he was a 5th rounder.
