What about Jake Delhomme, is he available...?

Is he still with the Browns...?

Or was he released, should we go after him...?

Matt Moore was better than Delhomme the last time the two were together. And please, nobody else insult themselves by posting Jake Delhomme's career numbers. That just makes everyone else aware that you don't know a quarterback can be over the hill.
 
If Henne's better, then why doesn't his TD vs INT's show us that, or his QB rating....?

I'm just saying, if he's available, would it not be a good insurance back-up....?

Jake Delhomme Last 2 years: '09: GS:11 TD:8 INT:18 CMP%:55.5 QB rating:59.4
..........................................'10:GS:4 TD:2 INT:8 CMP%:62.4 QB rating:63.4

.....Chad Henne Last 2 years: '09: GS:13 TD:12 INT:14 CMP%:60.8 QB rating:75.2
.......................................'10: GS:14: TD:15 INT:19 CMP%:61.4 QB rating:75.4

There was nowhere the last 2 years where Delhomme was any better than Henne except for 2010 CMP% and Delhomme only started 4 games! and he still had 8 INTs!

Come on, I know we need to improve but we don't need the washed up Delhomme over here.
 
delhomme was good for a time. then he became battered and torn. he is old. i am starting to think matt moore was the best thing out there available that has upside and something to prove.

Well thanks for not shooting me down in flames, I'm just looking for options to add some depth, in the event Henne does down. Would it not be a wise decision to have a real veteran back-up....?

I know stats can be misleading, but those last 2 year stats can be misleading as well. If you're on a bad team, you get into situations where your forced to throw, and negative things will happen.

I am just looking to add a veteran to our team, that can add depth, at the most important department on our team..
