What about trading for Vince Young?

The Eagles already have Kafka, who is a servicable long-term backup. I don't understand why we didn't go for Young in the first place. He is easily the best QB out there not currently starting. He's 28, has a 30-17 record, and has better QB rating the past two years than 2/3 of the league.

why bother now, and we need our draft picks.
 
I think its obvious right now that this organisation is tanking...

imo NOT NOO BUT HELL NOOOOOOO we have sage , Moore and devlin ,imo that will be enough QBs to get us through the season and hold us till we get new GM and HC. AND it isnt like we are 3-1 or 4-0 our season is just about done as far as makin it to the playoffs so why trade a pick or even a player when the new HC , GM prob wouldnt keep him around next year when they will want to bring in there own guys .so it would be kinda stupid to even think about bringing in VY . i say NOOOOO to this sisuation.
 
that would be the "Dolphinian" theory of football: trade a pick(s) for someone you could've/should've brought in for vet minimum!
 
Marshal can drop passes just as easy from Moore, Rosenfels and Devlin as he can from Vince Young. No need to get that extra victory to knock us out of the top spot.
 
Well he would fit right in here since he has been fighting a hamstring all season.
