What about two votes?

I realize I'm new this year and there are rules already established but maybe we could add one. Right now, as it stands, we set our roster and then vote for the team we think did the best job (I think). Why not keep this site as is for the entire season and in Feb we have a second vote, completely seperate to determine who really had the best season. After a full season we will have statistics to back up our opinions, the draft class will have diamonds and busts and we'll all know who's roster did well and who's didn't as opposed to trying to guess. I say we have the vote as is, in a few weeks, and the prize or prizes handed out but then we come back in Feb and do another vote. No prizes need be handed out for the second vote but it would be a great precursor before we start the new season. Any opinions?
 
I'd be okay with that, but remember, half the people that are here this year, won't be here next year. Trust me on this one...
 
That's fine. But we keep it to only those who participated this year. So if its 15 people who come back next year then only those 15 vote
 
if u guys want to vote on it after this season is over thats fine by me. I can give out the prize then if u guys like.
 
Id like to still vote on who has the best team now and then in Feb. we can vote just for bragging rights...
 
i for one dont like it....at all...after this vote the year is over then next season is another start..

No keep the prize as is, just for bragging rights we can have another vote after the season is over when we really see how our offseason moves panned out

how can that be judged when star permanent players have moved teams like vick...and how can you judge Defenses when thier squad doesnt look the same or a GM wants to scheme differently than real life...

What you'll have is a full season of stats to back up your moves. I agree that its not perfect in that you won't be able to nuance your arguments as much but it'll just be another thing we can do when we come back for the next season
 
any one know when we will vote or where do we put up our final rosters, im ready to vote!!
 
may seventh thte final rosters are due and w will probabl start voting on them that ay or the day after

I like the idea if this were a purely "Fantasy" type situation, however, I know I personally spent a fair amount of time working on in-tangibles. Offensive line and backups. These things are not going to show up in the stats. So not saying I wont sign up, just saying that some thought really needs to be put into what the criteria would be for next spring.
