IMO Davis looked better the other night than Smith did so Davis might be getting his shot to start but but opposite of will allen, not in place of him.

Depending on how quickly Vontae develops of course but I see Davis and Allen switching roles next season.

Smith looked horrible the other night as you could see a lot of passes coming his way as compared to Davis.
But I wouldn't pull Allen out and put a rookie in, only if the rookie was so much better. But he's not, at least now.
Next year? We'll have to see.

I thought that Smith looked better than Allen although neither looked very good. Davis looked great but had a better pass rush and was against the Bucs 3rd string receivers. The pass rush was non-existent as they only rushed 3 so that could play a role. With that being said, I would not be surprized to see Smith and Davis starting or at least rotating with Allen on a regular basis some time this year. I don't think that Allen is a bad CB, he just isn't as good as he once was.

I dont think any veteran should be held accountible for any thing that has to do with preseason.When the reg. season starts they will turn it up and play to their potential.I dont think W.allen is really goin all out.
