He's young (25), was a 2nd round pick, very durable, and plays both C and G. He could be a starting G and backup Pouncey at C if he misses any games. He offers lots of versatility . Seems like he'd fill a major need.

Been mentioned, I agree thought he could fill a need and in my opinion OL is a huge need.
 
He's probably holding out for a better offer from a team?

Idk, but he would be a decent pickup. Him, Crabtree, Matt Moore all seem like bargains at this point.

Maybe, though the Fins will have Clay's money soon. And it's not like people have been knocking down Wisniewski's door (for some reason)...maybe he won't be so expensive after all? I read somewhere that he doesn't fit some systems and is made for systems that focus on technique, agility, etc....like the Packers, Texans, and Pats. Sounds like a fit to me!
 
We'll see what happens......they need a guard....looks like Clay is gone....so money shouldn't be a problem.

I hope they aren't counting on Dallas Thomas.
 
he has been visiting a bunch of teams recently... a few this week as well from what I heard. from what I have also heard he may be wanting somewhere like 8 mil a year.

would love to bring him here, or at least look at him and such... but i havent heard any noise at all with Miami interest. last week he was even in Tampa Bay, and didnt go a little more south at all to visit us. not sure if we do have interest or not.
 
Could be his asking price or it could be he wants to stay at center and not play guard.
 
I read somewhere that he might be expecting 4 mill/year, not 8.
 
I think we were in holding mode waiting too see how the Clay thing went down.

I have to think they let Clay go.
 
Easily the best remaining free agent IMO. Let Clay walk and give this veteran interior lineman with great bloodlines some of that money.
 
Last I knew he visited Seattle... He would be a good pickup but apparently we think Dallas Thomas is just f***ing fine... Smh
 
It might be scheme. Does he fit the zone blocking scheme?
