I'd take any of them. Throw in Weeden as well. I'd like to draft Osweiler if we land Flynn or Manning as well. Don't worry, I want to keep future HOFer Matt Moore too. Good teams have good backups and perhaps we can get a steal of a trade later on. Win-win.
 
I think Weeden would be great! But any QB I'd take also.
But woah Fute HOFer? I just think we can win with him :)

Matt Moore went 6-6. Screw your statistics. There are tons of other stats I could pull up where he's hovering around the bottom of the league. He's average.
 
I could go for that as long as Miami drafted their qb of the future this year. I don't see Matt Moore as the long-term solution and it's hard to say how he will fit into a GB type of offense.

I think that there's merit to the notion that Philbin will know best on this one and act accordingly. But there were reasons why Flynn lasted until the 7th round- Matt Cassell is a decent QB and former 7th rd pick as well, but I wouldn't want to trade a 2nd rd pick and pay him tens of millions of dollars as KC did for the QB that he is now- in Flynns case specifically, I wouldn't want to pay the money for such a questionable commodiity, money that could imo be better spent elsewhere.

As things stand now I'd rather have Matt Moore and the money than Matt Flynn- and more importantly to me, I want Brandon Weeden. I'd take Moore, Weeden and the money saved on not signing Flynn over signing Flynn- in a heartbeat.

Liek that start to the draft, but I'd substitute Ladarious (sp) Green in the 3rd.

This. Average QB fits the description well. Just not good enough to be able to carry a team when it is needed from the QB position.

i think whether he's a lot better then moore or about the same skill level is irrelevant. if 2 guys have the same skill set but one knows the job better by about 4 years worth of experience, who do you go with? flynns price is higher because of his two games, not because were so siked about them, but because other teams are driving up the price. that being said.... who's to say he wouldn't give us a sort of "hometown"discount so to say because of philbin? ireland has been good with the contracts the last 2 years.

on the notion of where he was drafted, i don't see the relevance at this point, 4 years later. matt moore was undrafted, so according to that logic matt flynn is better? doesn't make sense. go by where these guys are as of today.

and although we obviously don't want to judge flynn on that game, you cant say that matt moore has ever thrown 6 touchdowns or 500 yards in a game, against ANY team. and dont forget he did play worse secondaries this year then the lions. he also played in plenty of "meaningless games." and i'd also say just because the lions dont have a great secondary doesn't mean you get to take away from a mean dline

I don't know about that. I watched some Lions games and I can honestly say I never saw a team we played just flat out blow as many coverages as them. That secondary in Detroit is pretty piss poor.
 
Moore played pretty good during his starts. He was new to the team and still outplayed Henne without a doubt in my opinion.
Sure he can be upgraded, but I think Philbins style can get more out of Moore.
If he can get us to 10-6 next year while Tannehill learns the ropes, I would not be surprised, and I would be thrilled.
Moore did not lose those 6 starts by himself. Colombo and the defense played a big part in that too.
 
Matt Moore so far has only improved and will continue to do so, plus he is only 26. He was number 12 overall in the qb ratings and he had no freakn line, let's give some credit where credit is do...Moore has my support and he is the type of QB needed to run this West Coast hybrid Philbin Offense which dictates a lot of throwing on the run, something Moore excels at. I think he is going to shine under this coaching staff.
