I know that this may sound odd but what options (legal and illegal ones) do out of market fans have to watch the game live? I'm not asking anyone to do anything illegal I just want to know what people in my situation have available to them.

Legally? None unless you want to listen to the game using the NFL Field Pass from Real.

Illegally: There are a few sites that do streaming of games on the net, mostly used by European fans, I won't post any links here, but do a search and you might find something.

dude its 1 football game! Don't get crazy

I agree, this is BS. We pay good money to watch these games, pay-per-view if you will, and now it appears that it's a farce. It's not DTVs fault, it's the NFL. Lets hope we can find a live radio feed from someone, maybe they will allow that at least. The NFL will be getting a bill for this :D , for 1/16 of the season cost of NFL Sunday Ticket plus 20% for pissin me off :fire:

Despite that, I hope this storm doesn't do any harm, that would suck :shakeno: I believe we've had our share of this stuff and wish the best for those in harms way.

Guys and gals I'm going to listen to the game via NFL Field Pass. You get a free 7 day trial. So you can sign up for the Dolphins game tomorrow night, and then cancel it afterwards. Just remember to cancel it or you will be billed monthly... had that problem last year. :o

If you are totally desperate to see the game and have Direc TV, you could opt for this shady little trick:

Call Direc TV and tell them that you have moved to an area in FL that is showing the game on their local affiliate. Your local channel package will include a CBS which will be televising the game. Then, you would need to call a place there that rents P.O. boxes out, rent one from them, and use that as your service and mailing address. The bills will come there, but it doesn't matter since you can just pay it online.

I really don't recommend doing this, by the way. It is beyond silly and ridiculous to do just for one game, that will still be shown tape delayed on Sunday (not the same, I know-trust me), but hey, if you are desperate, it is a way to go. I have heard of several people doing it for other things, like getting more HD local network feeds and what not, and each time I just :shakeno: at the lenghts some people will go.

Also, take into account that you would then be subject to the blackout rule, and the Fins have been kinda iffy on the sellouts as of late.

Find a sports bar the has Cband or KU band type dishes. They will have to search for it. (The Big Ugly Dish). Good Luck
