What are our playoff chances???

I truly believe there may be a 7-9 playoff team from the AFCE this year....with the way things are going in our division, this may be one of those years where a 7-9 team makes the playoffs....

Irionically enough, we're out of the wildcard race, but not out of the divisional race....

Does anyone know where we stand as of right now in the playoff race???

I figure "winning out" would be a start, but would winning out gaurantee us a playoff spot???

Probably not, we are 2 games behind New england (current divsion leader), however we still play them one more time....assuming we win that game, that would put us one game behind them....but if we're tied at the end of the season, then what??? what's the next tiebraker??? record vs. the division???
 
we would have to be a head of the Pats.. the next tie breaker is div record which we are curently 0-3. The pats are 2-0 and the only non div game they play is against the Bucs. If they lose to the bucs and we beat them that would put us tied if we win out. They would still need to lose to the Jets or Bills.
There is a chance we could get the div, but not likely as i see it.
 
Our chances are quite slim. I'm still hopeful. It would be nice to squeek into the playoffs, even if we won't go any further than the first round.
 
Well NE is 2 games up on us, they have the Jets twice, Bills, Bucs, and Us.


So they would have to blow 3 out of the next 5 games, with one of those loses to us. We would have to win out, because of tie breaker.

I was down in your neck of the woods a few weeks ago mountain biking, Harrisonburg. We had dinner at Calhouns a few nights!;)

Geez, just look at the standings.
 
eh. We will have to win throughout and have a little bit of luck, but if we win throughout we will PROBABLY make the playoffs i say.
