QB- Culpepper will be the starter. 1. because he still has a great arm 2. who the heck else could we have that is better 3. He needs time to rehab and learn the system before the team can judge him and 4. Nick Saban and the franchise do not want to admit mistakes that they made. By getting rid of DC the team would look stupid because they traded a 2nd for him.

RB- Ronnie Brown, good season despite missing 4 games worth of playing time. We should have Ricky back which when he plays is great. I just dont know is Saban wants all the drama that comes with a player like him.

FB- I dont think Barnes is the answer maybe a FA would be nice

TE- Get randy the god darn ball. We see what he can do. Make him a focul point of the offense, instead of just a desperation dump off.

WR- Booker showed what he can do. Chambers is a huge disapointment, but as a #2 he would be solid. Welker isnt good when he is asked to be more than a slot. Hagen is inconsitent. We need to draft a guy in the first or second round that has good hands(oronde gadsden type of guy).

O-LIne. Dont change it up unless there is a stellar FA.This group needs time to work together and not be reshuffled year in and year out.

DE- Hopefully JT will stay. If he doesnt do not panic. D-BO and Roth are very solid ends and Carter is very good.

DT-We need to find another big man because Traylor probably will retire. He is too old and banged up to continue playing I feel. I thought Big Daddy was gonna be used more often but Saban didnt really play him too much. Holliday had a good year and should be back.

MLB- He's short, somewhat slow and really doesnt seem like he has that much Talent but Zach Thomas is the best MLB in football. He proves it with crazy stats and plays his heart out.

OLB-Crowder is solid and should get better. We need to sign or draft somebody to play on the other side.

CB- Keep Daniels and the rest is up in the air. Idk Saban is supposed to be such a great secondary coach from what I hear but he has yet to make his guys play well.

Safties- Jason Allen and Renaldo Hill should be the starters. Weall love Bell but his weakness is not talent but his smarts. He is much more suited for a late game role player than a starter.

Kicker- uhhh Mare ends the season with 4 FGs keeping us in a game against the Colts. He is great at Kickoffs but everytime he is set up to kick a FG we all cringe.

Punter- Jones is great.

KR- We need somebody else on Kick Returns, Wes inst that explosive.
PR- Wes should stay. He is smart and makes the most outta punts but isnt good on kickoffs.

I like Wes Welker, but if we could get Ted Ginn Jr. in the draft we could take care of two spots with one player.WR/KR.

OK, so basically, you would keep the same team except for Welker, one of our most consistent guys on offense and special teams? That's genius. No offensive line changes? Unbelievable. Without some upgrades at QB, OL, O-Coordinatory, and secondary, the team will have the same results next season.

You forgot about our coaches?
P.S Mare got 5 FG's not that it matters much.

I disagree with quite a bit of this list.

Why do people keep insisting that Culpepper needs to learn our offensive system? We use Linehan's system. Culpepper played under Linehan in Minnesota. He already knows the system. Unfamiliarity with the system isn't Culpepper's problem. His knee is. Mularkey is arguably as big a problem, given the types of passing plays he calls.

Brown missed 3 games, not 4, and still broke 1000 yards. If Mularkey decides to finally start calling a balanced offense, Ronnie will be stellar.

I want to see McMichael get the ball more only if he loses some weight.

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but... we should keep our WR corps. Watching the Colts game tells me that Chambers can still be effective and should probably keep his #1 slot for one more year, and Booker is an amazing #2. If the coaching staff thinks along the lines of CK, then we'll probably move Chambers to the slot, get rid of Welker, promote Hagan to #3, and, dare I say it, make Vick the #4 receiver. Or, if we draft Ted Ginn, Jr., then we should have Ginn fill Welker's role. I'd rather see our first round pick go to a bigger position of need, though.

The offensive line needs help. The right side is fine, as long as we keep Carey and Shelton where they are. Hadnot is fine as a center. Most of Ronnie's yardage has come from running right. The problem at this point is the left side of the line, specifically Left Tackle. If we can draft Joe Thomas (doubtful: we've got the #9 draft choice, and Tampa Bay and Houston are both drafting ahead of us) we should slot him at LT. If not, let's address this in free agency. But it MUST be addressed.

Taylor will stay. He wants to win too much to leave after having one of the best seasons in his career.

Mare should be gone. Let's use our 6th round pick on a kicker and just get it over with.

Good Post! I agree on all accounts. I would be for drafting a guy like Gaines Adams if he's availble though. He could play rush OLB and be the heir apparent to JT. Joe Thomas prolly won't be their when we pick. I like the idea of Ricky and Ronnie in the back-field together. We do need playmakers on offense so I could see us going there w/ our first few picks.

With so many FA on this team and guys like JZ, KT, DW prolly on the outs this team is going to be a lot younger next year.

1. daunte at qb
2. ronnie brown rb (ricky prob won't be back...i think we re sign morris and get something for ricky ((if we can)) )
3. agree (need fb)
4. randy can catch and all but he dropped a lot of balls this year
5. resign marty booker (to tell u the truth, i would try a blockbuster trade and trade chambers. thats just me though)
6. rebuild the o line
7. if jt is back, don't do anything
8. DT's mostly are prob leaving besides evans and holliday (need more of those)
9. zach is fine at mlb for a couple more years
10. draft someone on the other side (crowder is perfect)
11. corners didn't do good this year (GET RID OF W.ALLEN)
12. j. allen and hill should be the s's.
13. get rid of mare (i would rather have harrington kicking field goals then him)
14. jones is fine

**fyi...u mentioned saban a lot and he might not even be back....keep that in mind**

Yep

Lets see what McMichael can do? Maybe we can see how many different ways he can drop a pass.

No O-Line changes?
Thats as far as I got. After that statement I lost any hope that the post would contain any lucid comments.
