we still have the only undefeated team still after the season?? I say if things keep going the way they are there is a chance the Bears meet the Colts in the SB. Then what?? I say if this happens there is a good chance we keep the only undefeated season. I wouldn't really care if the record were broke, however I can't stand Peyton. He is so damn smug and I think him beating Marinos TD record should have an * by it saying "this guy broke the record in near perfect conditions, for more then half the season". Still I'm sick of watching them light every team and don't need much D to maybe go undefeated. But wouldn't that be the best SB matchup this year??

Teams gameplan wrong against them

San Diego will beat them, so will Jacksonville and Seattle, if they gameplan right

Indy should already have a loss, but Marc Bulger decided he'd like to see what playing frigging linebacker felt like and tore up his shoulder. :fire:

Indy wont even be in the superbowl anyway

I do think the Bengals may be gaining momentum each and every week, and I'd be loathe to see them again if I were the Colts. The first game proved that the Bengals could score on that Indy D. The second game will be all about that Bengal D having the confidence necessary to shut down Manning (as much as he can be shut down).

They are the best, it is as simple as that. The only thing I can say in Miami's defense is that the teams they are playing are mediocre and are game planning wrong compared to the Fins of 72. Shula also said that the 73 team were even better, but they couldn't match that 72 season. So although in 72 it was a great achievement, it dont necessarily mean they were the best team ever. One thing I am sure in, is that if there was an all time Team Miami would win it hands down

I'm not so sure about that........the Steelers and Raiders could put together an amazing 'all-time' team.

defense wins championships.....the Colts have the most powerful defense in the AFC, and the Bears have the most defense in the NFC. I imagine the Colts and Bears will go to the Super Bowl......but the Bears are gonna lose. The Bears have NO OFFENSE, their defense wins every one of their games. id actually LOVE to see the Bengals against Bears....but nobody is gonna stop the Colts. NOBODY!

The Giants or Seahawks will likely drop the Bears because it seems like every team in the playoffs faces that game where they have to score 14-17 points. I don't think the Bears can do it. If they were healthier at RB (Benson) and Orton had another year under his belt, they could probably do it. As it stands now, I just don't see it happening.

Denver matches up best against Indy, in the AFC playoffs denver will knock off Indy

Regular season Seattle will score with them, and contain them on offense, jacksonville will shut down Manning, they finish 14-2

I would challenge that, the game has grown up but I dont believe the Raiders and the Steelers have come on as well, even though the Steelers have been good lately. I still think that we would give anyone a run for there money, although the Steelers would be close in my book. If you had said this 10 years ago I would have probably agreed with you.

If Indy have a 95% chance of winning each game, then they have a cumulative probability of just just under 60% of going undefeated throughout the rest of the season.

If you assign them a 90% chance of winning each game their probability of going undefeated from here is 35%.

I think they've got the team to give the record a shake, but the numbers stack up against them in going perfect.
