All about the money. I can't really blame them for not wanting to give a guy with his past a huge money contract.

Jared Allen got suspended two games last season(reduced from 4) for back to back DUIs. He had at least one from college, checking it you would probally find two. He is one DUI away from a years suspension.
Since then has has opened a sports bar in KC.
Every year they have the 101 banquet in KC for the league MVP, coach of the year and so forth. It's a black tie event. Jared won the Chief's MVP. He accepted his award in a tux t-shirt.
While wanting a new contract he went to Spain and ran with the bulls. And does crazy things in the off season like wrestle gators.
He wants Freeny money(72 million, 30 mil signing bonus). And doesn't understand why the Chiefs question his maturity.
They want a clause in his contract to protect them. He doesn't see that as acting in good faith

he supposibly hasnt drank in about a year in a half. if vikings get him their dline is going from already beastly to amazingly beastly
