What's the one thing you hope has changed with the fins this year vs. last?

My thing is this...."catch the damn ball"......INT's killed us this past year. Games that would have been a win in the books if we can just catch the interception. A few picks would have place 6 on the board. Hopefully our hands are better this year in the secondary.

Outside of the obvious (improvement from Henne . . . less conservative offense, more risk taking) I completely agree, the secondary taking that "next" step is critical. That means holding on to potential INT's, making plays on the ball, forcing turnovers, doing an even better job on the deep balls, tackling better, playing more consistent . . . I want this to be a strong group. Alot of young talent back there, hopefully these guys can realize their potential.

We need some ome to step up and be the ball hawk back there, hitters are good but hawks are better.

that includes b marshall

why does this guy get a pass? its like chris chambers all over again.

Consistency from Henne. Either to improve, or stop showing those little flashes that make everybody crazy and reticent to get rid of him.

The fact that he can be great one play and lousy the next is the most annoying thing about the Dolphins. I can handle sustained sucktitude (cf. 2007 season) but not schizophrenic play.

FWIW, I sure hope it's the first one ;)

Henne playing much better is the most obvious, but there are a couple other things I'd like to see.

Like OL improvement and consistency in the running game. They are very good at pass blocking.

For defense, the turnovers will be key. If they want to be an 'elite' unit, they have to force a lot of turnovers!

The oline is the center piece of many offensive movements

i'll be looking at the offensive line and Henne, the weakest links. hoping, praying, yelling.

3 things from me:

1. We need more turnovers. I remember Mike Nolan wanting to do that last year but it never came to fruition. We were one of the worst in takeaways, if not, the worst.

2. Wide receivers: STOP SLIPPING. I don't know if it's on the players, or the conditions, or the cleats, holy crap stay on your feet please.

3. I'm looking for Tony to stop abandoning the run game so early. Get our backs a healthy amount of carries.

MUCH better play out of Henne, better O-line play (sadly), better run game, less drops by the receivers (especially Marshall), less drops by the secondary, better TE coverage, MUCH better game and clock management out of Sparano, less conservative playcalling, and MUCH better ST play. That should about do it.
