I work until 5 with an hour commute home I'll surely be listening to 97.5 the phinatic (ESPN affiliate in philly, not a dolphin station) for draft coverage. Being in the Philly area a lot of friends wanted to try and go to the draft but I just had no interest. I hate crowds and lines. I like to be able to hear myself think and it will be mayhem down there. I knew I never wanted to go as the draft is made for tv.

I've hosted draft day parties going way back 20 years when it was the Saturday/Sunday format and now we just tweak it a bit to be a BBQ gathering with my brother and closest football diehards. No casual fans welcome.

I'm hosting Thursday, Friday at my cousin's house for draft/poker game.

This year is extra special for me as my first child, my son Niko will be 3 months old Thursday. He will be decked out in his baby dolphin gear (Landry onesy) He doesn't know it yet but he loves the Dolphins too.

Let's see. Get off work at 7am. Take step daughter to school. Sleep for three hours then go to class. Get out if class and then pick up pay check. Run errands. Go home and go back to sleep then get back up to get ready for work. Check to see who Miami drafted. Go to work. Then rinse and repeat minus pay day.

Requested mid day shift; getting off at 6pm. Have some other friends/fans coming over to grill steaks and drink lots of beer.

Seating in my man cave crying because most likely well past on a top 5 Defense player.

Work till 6. Get inebriated and watch the madness unfold.

I really wish we could condense it into a 2 day thing... do 1-3 day 1, and 4-7 day 2.

Driving 2 hours to my bros house 2 1/2 hours before the start to grill out. Then head over to the local vfw with a few friends to watch it. It'll be a great time! Was last year!

My draft starts at 2pm! Luckily I work grave so it works out perfectly.

Grilling out at my best buddies house who is a die hard football fan. He wants lamp for their OT issues or worst case bad ass guard and they pick a couple spots before us.

It's been a helluva fun rivalry between our two teams this last five year going back to the game T hill and Manning squared off mid to late season and Manning lead a killer 2 min drill culminating in a touchdown with like 30 seconds left. Our team went tit for tat with the eventually afc super bowl representative so it was memorable

See what Miami drafted and read the meltdown of unhappy posters

Laugh with those in chat

Draft & Poker sounds about perfect for me! Have fun.

However I am home for at least a month recovering from surgery on some severely broken ribs! I think I'll try and get up out of my recliner to grill some ribs (give directions to my wife probably) and then right back to the recliner to watch the draft. Then try not to post my thoughts about some ridiculously negative comments that I am sure to follow whoever we draft....Oh well, Phins up!

I'm working until 7pm. After that, I'm meeting up with friends at Frankey's Sports Bar & Grill. WQAM is broadcasting live there, too.
