Strief is a beast, the best RT in football; however, we can't sign two 30+ year old tackles to big contracts or we'll be going through this same stuff in two-three years looking for both a left & right tackle. Austin Howard, Breno Giacomini, or a rookie RT would be better choices in terms of age & cost.

You cant seriously believe that steve ross intends to allow his 11th choice gm to run his billion dollar franchise for long do you?

In my mind Dennis Hickey is a one year stopgap, nothing more and I will afford him no more respect than that. I just hope he doesnt screw up the cap for next years proper GM. The very fact that we had to sink so low literally offends me, its an embaressing situation and im a fecking homer.

The Oracle predicts - Devin Hester! Would love to get that Giacomo dude from Seattle but I don't see it happening.
 
Darren McFadden. He'll be good for a nice 4-game stretch before he gets hurt again.
 
Please keep in mind: Louis delmas and reshad jones are similar style players. You don't sign two in the box safeties and not have two shutdown corners..
 
Albert will sign.
Chase hard on Streif and hopefully grab him.
Would love them to sign Toby Gerhardt.

No way am I comfortable without one of my two standout DT's and I feel like Starks is the better of the two. I would still go DT within the first three rounds of the draft. Like a poster above mentioned, no way are we having two "enforcer" type safeties without having 2 really good boundary corners. Cromartie would be a solid matchup with grimes, but if Jamar Taylor stands out this year and takes the #2 I wouldn't mind Tarell Brown in the slot. Bradshaw comes in and provides us with a good 3rd down back that can pass block and go out for passes; have always wanted us to give him a shot. LaFell

Unlike everybody else who was u disgusted when he was announced I didnt mellow just because he said nice things in a press conference

He does seem a nice guy

My Predictions: After Albert, I say we make a big splash in FA week 1. Look for vet CB (losing Patterson and Carroll), DT (losing Starks and Soliai), OT (losing Martin, Clabo) or OG (losing Richie and Jerry) and possibly vet RB (Daniel Thomas sucks). I'd love to see MJD or Tate and maybe Talib. Hope I'm right!
