The title of the article should have been, "What big move is T-Dumb going to make to further screw the team"

Mike Tannenbaum likes to make the big deal and be aggressive. In his time with the Miami Dolphins, he's given a huge contract to Ndamukong Suh three years ago, and two years ago trades back five spots in the first round with the Philadelphia Eagles for Byron Maxwell and Kiko Alonso. Whether you like the moves or not you do have to admire Tannenbaum's aggressiveness. He was like that with the New York Jets and it’s no different with the Dolphins.

I would have agreed about a big move, but I would be more inclined to see this ins 2019 when they finally have flexibility w moves because Suh, Kiko and Branch all have cut-table deals

Tbaum gets a bad rep some deserve some not, but his high price FA signings have to stop, build through the draft and spend your money wisely. The Dolphins have to learn to use the draft like JJ did, turn 7 picks into 12 and draft wisely.

the funny thing is, I think because of his prior bad deals, he can't make a move at all, without looking at the "Big 2" salaries and extending Landry. Let's say they want in the Cousins' sweepstakes, it would take a whole lot of cuts and extensions to make that happen

One of the things that frustrate me about Tannenbaum is his thought process. Following JJ made sense at least after the fact, but with Tbaum I just can't figure out exactly what his plan is, or if he even has one. I like the fact that we extended our own players, but his overall plan is the head scratcher to me. Where is he going? How does he plan to get there? what is his plan for cleaning up the cap while keeping us competitive? How does he make a decision with draft picks? etc.etc Tbaum seems to be a coach killer and he better get this situation under control or we will be going nowhere.

Honestly the drafting has been better than decent since he’s been here.

He’s only spent huge money on Suh, and everyone in the NFL put feelers our for him.

Needs to stop giving bad players contracts tho.

you are aware of the cap hit this season for Alonso and Branch, right?

I hold my breath every time he makes a deal. He just sucks at it. As far as the drafts, they've been ok lately but not great so far. They could turn out to be great but in order for that to happen you'd need at least 2 or 3 of those guys to be great players and not just starters

Ozzy rules!!

I attribute this to Gase although I can be wrong.

His ability to give away draft picks is most frustrating.

Only 16 days until free agency and the 2018 season officially begins. They better get things straightened out with the salary cap.

If I had to guess, I wouldn't be surprised if Miami traded up for a quarterback. Baker Mayfield maybe.

How does Ross look at this list and not fire Tannenbaum....that's the mystery.

probably gonna try to get in position for Bradley chubb but not gonna have the ammo with the trade offers to get a qb at picks 1 and 2 trumping anything tbaum could offer

in the end Cleveland and the giants decline the offers and take qbs
